Unless you make me play wit some darkness, i guess its 0 upgrades for me. I dont have earth uppeds.
And i agree with kaker, dont take uppeds unless they are necessary.
This reminds me. How much our opponents can exploit this event card?
Will look after this, based on their card and
collection in their application.
EDIT Well apparently they can, They either have a bunch of upped card or lots of bling.
Dictator,
UTALan and
mrpaper might have a limited access to upped cards.
EDIT2 Simple
game theory maths here.
Let's assume for a second that upped cards--> win.
We can salvage 6 cards from a win.
That means if we discard 5 cards for a win, then we are netting a card, and if we discard 7, then we losing one.
That said, we shouldn't discard more than 6 cards for any deck, so we shouldn't up more than 3*6=18 cards.
(if we discard 6, our only gain is that the opponent must discard 6 from their deck, and thus, his team gets weaker)
ofc the problem is that 'upped cards' -/-> win and even 'more upped cards than the opponent'-/-> win, but still, we can guess and estimate the hypotetical 'value' of a win opposed to the likeliness of it, and up cards according to the results.
In the ideal world the chances of winning would be a direct function of the number of upped cards used, or rather, the difference between the amount of our upped cards - the amount of the opponents upped cards. In this world we could make an 'investment-payoff-chances of winning' equation and simply choose the amount of upped cards based on the maximum values of 'payoff' in the equation
(mathematically, it means to derivate the equation according to the parameter 'payoff'). I dunno why I am writing this. It has no relevance lol
