The problem with unupped Aflatoxin has long been it's inability to heal enough to survive until the lock kicks in, and it's inability to do anything about the creatures that do make it into the board.  It occurred to me today that this problem could be overcome by a small spread to Light for Sanctuary, which also keeps Discord and other annoying denial from being a big problem -- and Skull Buckler.

The one question I know you're asking -- the trio of Virii are mostly there to remove annoying creatures that just won't go down to Skull Buckler for whatever reason, and to attract early CC away from the Dragons.  If you have it, replace one Virus with an Arsenic, or if you feel it works better, with a fourth Boner Dagon.

This deck WILL LOSE to strong creature control and strong permanent control.  Don't have any illusions. But with Halfbloods being what they are, this deck will win often, and it will almost always EM when it does win.  It's not superfast, but it's very very consistent and easy to play.

That's actually deliberate.  Yeah, that's the ticket. It's...ummm...it's a Kingdom of Loathing (http://kol.coldfront.net/thekolwiki/index.php/The_Bonerdagon) reference.  KoLFTWBiznatch!  :P

Erm... how exactly does this deck work around AI5s again?
I get mopped up by everything.

0) Whenever possible, drop a Sanctuary
1) Place Skull Buckler
2) Use Aflatoxin on something that will die quickly
3) Afla+Skull Buckler = an enemy field full of 1/1 cells and 1/1 or 2/2 skeletons.  That means very little incoming damage (which the sanctuaries should be able to heal easily) and an HB with a hand clogged full of critters it can't cast.
4) Boner Dagon for the kill.

If your luck is on a bad streak, you can make it better able to set up by swapping out
A) a Virus for a 4th Skull Buckler
or
B) A Virus for an Aflatoxin
or
C) Both.

OR, if you can get the setup but then you deck out, you could try swapping out
A) A Virus for a Boner Dagon.

BTW, I lurve the name.

so the idea of the boner dragons is a late game killer if all else fails right?
so quanta isn't really a problem at that point right? so doesnt it make more sense to use light dragons  for the extra 5 health?

Essence is long gone, and this topic is ancient. HB's are stronger now, but either way... the Bone Dragons are the main offence, so it'd definitely be smarter to switch to Golden Dragons, and two Arsenics would help a lot with drawing PC and making your offence much more consistent. Plagues over Viruses makes more sense now that HB's are stronger. I'd run this with Death mark and mostly Light pillars, some Light pends.
