In my opinion it's about time 'mana' got a proper definition in Elements. Introducing the new pseudoquanta concept: Elemental mana!
As you can see, I'm using the Underworld symbol as the mana symbol. If anyone has alternative art that would be great.
Basically a card with mana cost will take its quanta cost from a certain element as much as possible, then random quanta for the rest.
For example: imagine you have 4
and 7 other quanta. If you play a card that costs 8
it will drain your 4
, plus 4 other random quanta.
On the other hand, if the card only cost 2
, it would drain 2
as if it had merely cost fire quanta.
But wait, there's more! Introducing: pseudomana!
Mirror mana, Copy mana, Priori mana and Apogee mana! They are the same as elemental mana, but use pseudoquanta as the primary source instead. For example, Mirror mana costs as much quanta from your mark as possible.
