So after i read the thread about defining/breaking down death i got half an idea. I was thinking it would be somehow related to the afterlife, one specific idea is Lingering Conscious/Spirit. But what should a spirit be able to do? Scare creatures (i.e. delay)? Be vengeful?
It is the greatest mystery of all...

Nice series. I think i'd either use vengeful (with permission) or give it some kind of 'fear' or repellent, in that things stay away from it; an anti-gravity pull. Maybe even both.

Hi. I was thinking it would be cool if there was a card that worked something like this: You play it and it is suspended X turns. Once those turns are up, it deals damage to every enemy creature equal to X number of X element creatures you have. That's the general idea, I need help fleshing it out. Thanks!

I renamed your variables.
Does X=Y?
Does X=Z?
Does Y=Z?

Keep it Simple is the design philosophy of ETG
Instead of Suspend use Delayed

So a permanent that comes into play Delayed X turns. After X turns it deals Y AoE damage (Y=number of ___ creatures you have).

Simplicity:
It has two mechanics. However one is a new usage of an existing mechanic so it qualifies as simple.

Thematics:
It is a timed Area of Effect creature control. Also it would work best mechanically as a permanent.
So a timed AoE CC originating from a permanent.
However it also grows in magnitude with the number of creatures of a specific element.

Balance:
I will withhold judgement until others comment.

Redundancy:
Unstable Gas is a "Delayed" Spell
Firestorm is an AoE

Metagame:
What benefit would this bring to the game?

10% opponents attacking miss. stackable (but as separate permanent when played, not like pillars)
does not stack with fog/dusk shield, but done separately, one after the other.

sound ok? should it be other? if not which element? think darkness or air should not be included in options due to shields, perhaps entropy?

Typically this idea stacks by multiplying (aka~ 10,19,27,34,40.5,46.5 %)
This would have good synergy with Fog Shield so I think Air would be a fine place for it (cloud bank or something).
However any element that can obscure sight on the primary battlefield would work.

Got idea for a card too. I think that potential of Soul catcher card in the game isn't exploited enough. So I'm going to make a card, which will look like this:

Name: ? (some cool like Soul wanderer or Death elemental)
Type: Creature
Cost: All :death you have
Att/def: X/5
Text: It's power is equal to :death spent/2.

And upgraded version:
Name: ? (Elite Death elemental...)

last of ideas I had ages ago which I thought I'd put out here before making/scraping:

Dragon Sword: a standardish other weapon. When you "animate weapon" it turns into a dragon. Just unsure whether dragon should be random or the corresponding dragon to your mark? Also, in general, good/bad idea?
