Name: Swap
Type: Spell
Element: Darkness
Cost: 4
Text on Card: Switch a creature with your opponents Creature

Problem 1 : Double targeting is seen as difficult to code.
Problem 2 : I could swap a Photon for a Dragon.

Name: Mind Control
Type: Spell
Element: Darkness
Cost: 4
Text on Card: The targeted creature attacks his owner.
Sounds like a spell version of Siren (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,7983.0.html).
Are these good?

Mind Control has been suggested as Enchantress and is in the Creature Forge?
Swap requires dual targeting which has problems with cancellation.

I thought of Mind Controll a few posts back but just decided to bring it back up again.

A card that is probably impossible to balance correctly:

Hypertravel: 20 random quanta (can be any element, preferably Gravity or Aether since it deals with Space.)
Copy all the oppponent's creatures, then kill all the ones on the enemie's side of the field. All your quanta goes to the enemy in random quanta pools.

Even if you did, a creature swap combo like that is almost like an instakill, especially if a Spark is used.

Like I stated before double targeting would still be a coding difficulty.

Very strong, but it might be balancable. How about just a mass buff spell that also gives quantum to the opponent?

I've had this idea floating around for a while and it needs expert balancing:

Level Field|Balanced Field
7|6
 :gravity:earth, for the weight?
Spell
All creatures on the field are now 5|5 for 3 turns.

Or it could average all the stats. It's up for interpretation.

That is actually a good idea. And then the upped version can be where all enemy creatures are 5/5 for 3/3.

RoL+Fractal would wreck with that spell, plus throw in a Grav Shield and you've got a free army + Phase Shield.  3|3 or 4|4 might work, but would still be quite strong.

It may be better to reduce enemy ATK by 50% and give your creatures a 50% increase, so it's more relative to the existing field, but that's pretty powerful as well and would be a very different card.

I had an idea today. I wanted to make a different kind of denial card that doesn't affect the quantum pool, it actually does the opposite.
I wanted to make a card that, when a card is played, if the cost brings it down below 1, it can't be played. That would block the drain spells, (fractal, miracle, sky blitz) and really only limits higher cost cards like dragons and nymphs.

My problem is that I don't know what element it should belong in, a name, cost, and whether this should really be worth making. Denial usually doesn't like low cost cards, and this doesn't fill that niche, and it would have to add more coding to card playing. It might be too situational, blocking those too. Maybe not so much if the card was stackable.

Blocking cards from being played is very strong, particularly since those elements have little to no PC.  It would be better if your card increased the cost of already expensive cards by 1.  Such as: Cards with cost 5 or greater cost 1 more to play.

As Z said, this would probably be an instant kill-type of card, so one way to balance it is to have the same effect on a smaller scale.
Ex. Copy target opponent's creature, kill it, then give opponent all your quanta of the element of the creature you copied. For that the cost could probably go down by at least half.
It is the greatest mystery of all...
