Ripping themes right off is pretty morally reprehensible. Ew.
As for your suggestions:
- Shard of Sacrifice costs HP.
- Forced, direct discards can't be balanced until there's an opposite side of the coin, like a graveyard for discarded cards and ways to get them back. Changing mechanics like that isn't needed yet because we can still do a lot with our current ones and remain unique rather than copy someone else. Having your own identity is very important, both for the community and portfolio.
- Perm-like pillars are something I do like, and there are quite a few similar card ideas like that circulating.
- Multicolour seems unnecessary for now, just like graveyard. The current system of abilities costing a different quanta allows for easier splashing.
- Targeting: This is not MTG and I'd keep it this way. Part of becoming skilled at a game is doing your own research and finding out how things work.
- Site isn't working, so I can't see what you mean by never-give-up-perms, but if it's the kind that doesn't let you lose until they're destroyed: no. Permanent control is too rare in this game, and permanents/creatures like that have always seemed to abusable to me. Not necessarily overpowered, just flattening the meta.
