This is the result of our first Community Card Design, created by the community and balanced by the community.

Bounce - When a creature with the Bounce passive dies, it does not trigger death effects and instead returns to the owner's hand.

-Full hand causes Bounce to fail.
-If killed by Aflatoxin or Skull Shield, the creature still returns to the hand for the following reason:

I think that full hand shouldn't cause bounce to fail, but instead have the creature return to its owner's deck (RT-style). This would enable draw-denial through Ren-usage on opponent's creatures (making Fenghuang more versatile) as well as disabling nightmare as a direct counter to bounce (but enabling it as an indirect counter because of draw-denial).

Otherwise, i think that all the effort we put into this project finally paid off, I'm just happy to see this awesome card we worked out right now :D

I'm not sure if full hand should prevent bounce or not.
We should consider pro and cons and make a poll.

I think bounce should fail if there is not room in the hand to retreat to. It gives the ability a tactical weakness to Nightmare which increases gameplay complexity in a positive manner.

Right. But we can also think that if a player have a full hand and some "bounce" creatures die, they will make the player "lose" new draws.
However i find this boring... i prefer to draw new cards, even if that means losing a creature.
Also, this means that there is a way to kill a "bounce" creature. A difficult one, sure, but there is one.

You are referring to the Artist field of the Card Image Builder? It is merely disabled by default; there is a checkbox to enable it.

By the way ... I find the 'COMMUNITY CARD : ' in the title questionable should this be submitted to the Crucible. :)

Nothing that TheManuz has posted in this thread without requesting credit for the art, I believe he's okay with the card image as is.

Furthermore, I agree on label. Personally, I find it obnoxious, but then again, I found the sticky for the design thread obnoxious too.

Ok, you two have convinced me, bounce having no true weakness seems surreal (or boring) for the game.

Also your hand needs to be empty, if you want to protect 8 creatures in one turn (against firestorm, skull shield, etc). This may be unlikely but not completely impossible, thus forcing you to decide, whether to keep your creatures or your unrevealed hand cards (which adds more appreciated tactical "flavors" to the game, along the lines of OldTrees' statement).

Another thing that i really like about bounce ability is the fact that if you have 7 cards in hand and a bounce creature "die", you lose a draw.
Nice drawback!

About the card art: there are already credits in the table, so i don't mind if there is no credit on the card.
