Working on an Aether Deck https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=32904.msg415682#msg415682

Deck intended for...er...general use I guess, unless I need a specific deck for something.

Current idea of the deck was to abuse Fractal with Phase Spider or Sparks and rush with those with Phase Shields there to stall and Parallel Universe to deal with the enemy's heavy hitters, but reviewing the deck t looks a little..unfocused. I'm curious how I can streamline the deck a bit to work with the Fractal rush idea.

Also, as a slightly related note, would going with an Aether/Death deck that takes advantage of Fractal Sparks and Bone Wall be better with this type of idea?

Thank you in advance.

The forums have a useful feature to import deck images and codes, you should use it. :P

I'd suggest fractal GotPs as fractalling sparks or spiders doesn't work very well unupped. Try this: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=29973.0 . There are many more options but most don't utilize dimensional shields and those seem to be in your agenda.

Hmm, I'll take a look at it.

Any tips on Spark/Bone Wall combo at all?

To get the best use out of your dim shield you should use a 30 card deck. As for the fractal, I would advise to stay away from fractaling aether creatures because it uses all of the aether quanta.

Also, as a slightly related note, would going with an Aether/Death deck that takes advantage of Fractal Sparks and Bone Wall be better with this type of idea?

Thank you in advance.

I would definitely this path with soul catchers and bone dragons

something like this perhaps?

Heh, this takes me back. This is the first deck I ever posted. It's obviously not optimal, especially with the recent SoG change, but it's an example: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,7536.0.html

It's mostly a strategy you would use for fun, but with some added offence, it's quite decent. The most important thing is to get fast quanta so you're set up fast and get more Sparks from Fractal, and have more sources of damage. Your defence is incredible, and you can add Vultures to benefit from the massive deaths on the field. Especially unupped, they're superior to Boneyard. You may also consider Poisons/Arsenic to get around shields, and Plague/Lightning to deal with their creatures.

Lightning leads into a different kind of deck, namely the BoneBolt variants, as seen here: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=28445.0
They're just plain amazing :>
Keep in mind though, PvP decks and decks meant to kill the AI are very different. With AI, you can afford to play around with silly, fun builds. BoneBolt is purely a PvP deck archetype.

Sparks are just too weak unupped. You'd need to follow up with mummies or dragons afterwards.

I just tried making something and basically ended up with the same thing Sevs did:

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
52r 52r 52r 52t 52t 52v 52v 52v 52v 52v 52v 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 622 622 622 622 622 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 809 809 809 809 8pu

The following is quite hilarious and FG capable if you're willing to move away from sparks.
