Rainbow, need help against Lvl 5 and Top-50

I began with Scaredgirl's "(almost) NON-UPGRADED False God Rainbow"
and tweaked it for personal enjoyment after I got bored with a phoenix-rush deck. 

I have played several types of decks and find myself returning to this time and again simply because it is so much fun.

I just got slaughtered five times in a row by a Level 5 and unless I get a farm deck I find myself losing 75% of the Top-50 matches.

My next upgrade will be the Ice Shield.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Right now I just want to have fun while making money and collecting rare cards. 

I have one of each shard (non-upgraded) but am not sure about how to make them fit.

Control rainbows don't fare too well against the top 50, since the majority of your opposition are rush decks -- control rainbows are slow to get going, and rush decks take advantage of that weakness.

I would suggest that you take a look at Can Haz Moar Drawz (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,11062.0.html), which is a faster and more up-to-date Time mark Rainbow built for fighting FGs.

You'll want a few more Shards of Gratitude beforehand, though. The only way of getting those is by taking on the top 50. Vreely's no upgrade T50 rush (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,3882.0.html) should be able to help you win some of those matches against actual decks while you hunt down those rare farms.

Shards of Gratitude fits in -all- medium-speed to slow-speed decks. They're usually better than Bonds. Shard of Divinity is like a better version of Heal. 20 instant HP is very good sometimes. Shard of Readiness could be cast on your Druid or Queen to save . That would let you skip the Rustler and get something from Light.

As for the deck in general, what pika said applies. Half-Bloods are unfortunately not worth farming, but T50 can be as rewarding as FG's. Make a nice rush for that. =)

I went ahead and made the T50 rush deck, I found myself with a 50/50, average cash for a win ~30, few cards whereas my time spent against the lvl5s seems to get near similar cash as I win over 75% with EM and I get an upgraded card one out of every hundred wins, which is bad odds I suppose, but still awesome.

I find myself unconvinced that T50 pays better than the Half-Bloods.  However, I cannot argue that it is the only way to get shards, so it is somewhat necessary.

I will have to study Can Haz More Drawz to see how I can improve my deck.

On a somewhat unrelated note, it would be awesome if one Sunday, when the T50 decks reset, everyone could make a farm deck.  Elements puts me back to my Magic days when whoever had the best allowance had the best deck, except now it is free-time not money... though time is money...

Vreely's, huh? Never liked that one. I use kartis' lava rush (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,6960.0.html) or speed poison (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,365.0.html). The latter is really fun. x)
T50 pays off a -lot- more than Half-Bloods since you can sell tons of rares when you have 6 of them all. It can pay off as much as FG's. That's a lot. You just need a fast deck that suits your playstyle, and the win ratio will go to +80% with a ttw of 6-8 and simple to play. Heck, if you want EM's, you can use DEMA (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,12700.0.html). I'd try to fit two Explosions in it, though. Then again, maybe lava rushes ain't your thing. S'all up to preference. Maybe you'd like speedbows? :>

I am beginning to find grinding with Vreely's to be wearing... so perhaps I will look towards a speed-rainbow... what is your opinion as far as un-upped speebows?

When it comes to unupped speedbows, I find either basing them on Graboids or Immolations/Golems works best. You get everything with both options: fast damage, creature and perm control. Antagon's speedbow (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,7528.0.html) is still the best when it comes to the former, and No Land Stompy (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,12102.0.html) dominates the latter. Obviously Antagon's is more stable due to being well-balanced, while No Land Stompy is quite a bit faster. (almost an entire turn)
They're tested against Elders, but I've gotten good results with Antagon's in T50 on my alt account.
