To avoid deckout, you can slow down or stop the usage of SoB when you see that you're low on cards-- you don't have to play it all the time. This allows you to avoid the odd deckout without adding inconsistency with the 3 extra 0 cost cards. I still don't think the Holy Flash is worth it.The lack of healing is an issue, but one that can be worked around by playing around with SoSac timing. You don't always need to heal from it, just take less damage.
