Basilisk-Armagio Deck https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=3263.msg28242#msg28242
« on: February 22, 2010, 02:07:02 am »
...here's a decklist:
16 Gravity Tower
3 Elite Armagio
4 Massive Dragon
3 Unstoppable
5 Elite Otyugh
4 Gravity Force
5 Black Hole
2 Diamond Shield
2 Heavy Armor
2 Pulverizer
2 Protect Artifact
4 Basilisk Blood

[@ScaredGirl: I attached the image, but am not really sure how to include it here. Also, I tried the 'Add image(s)' button, but it only added a tiny undecipherable image...help? please... thanks]

Little help with this deck?

Hope you like the idea, basically use Armagio+Basilisk Blood as a free 30+ HP Shield.
Other than that, it's your basic Oty eats everything, heavy armor when needed to eat large creatures, unstoppable for shields, Dragon cuz it's big.
Gravity force is used to take down opponent's creatures when needed
Black Hole is used mostly for life gain
Pulverizer is Pulverizer, PA is for Pulv (Towers vs. Seism)

It is somewhat fun, but has lots of problems. Biggest right now is quanta, I just can't get the Tower amount right (this deck likes to screw me - gives me nothing except against Seism, who just destroys them all anyways until you get PA)
Poison is a problem, as well as creature control.

Opinions?
Thanks
-Mad

It's your basic gravity mono deck, I might try and thin it down.

Drop the black holes, as defense shouldn't be in grinding decks unless you're going for mastery, which black hole will rarely help you with.  Drop your dragons.  If you're otyughs don't get stronger than your dragons you're doing it wrong.  Just generally try thinning the deck to speed it up.  It looks pretty decent though.

Gravity force is for removal? If it is, thats kind of worthless seeing as you have a heavy  armoured Oty.

If gravity force is for protection, why? you have armagios with gravity force built in.

kinda twofold, if i can't get an oty to stay on board, gravity force can be good when combined w/dragons
also, if the enemy has nothing for oty to each (aka, too high hp), gravity force helps with that also.
definitely something that i thought about taking out, but as it's only in trainer i don't have oodles of time to keep testing and retesting (takes awhile to set up every time in trainer)

I gotta recommend against two-fold.  They would do much better as two different decks.

If you want versatility, try and find cards that work well in any situation.
