Hello, I've been toying with this deck since I started playing Elements. It has seen many incarnations, this is only one that works. I'm sure someone has built this deck before, or something similar but I haven't come across it in the game or in the forum. I've used it to farm Silver and Gold in the arena successfully but lately it is winning less frequently. What adjustments can I make to improve it? Dropping the Life cards entirely in favor of more Freedom Shards?

I should also mention i intentionally left two vampires un-upped.

I apologize if this has been covered, I tried to search this deck code a couple of times and must be doing something wrong.

Thanks,
fiskers

To me, this looks like some kind of "superfriends", as I call it. (I don't know the proper term.)

This is my build for such a deck. Yes, it can be improved, but it'll work like that just fine.
(I would probably remove the siphons for vampire daggers or nightmares.)

I would not add life to it, but if I had to (which I don't), I would add Empathic Bonds.
But, I could see some variant of air working, by replacing the steals/dusk with SouFflé/fog and just running the entire air section of the deck off of an air mark.

As for this thing working against silver/gold: ... Well, Monodarkness does work well against bronze and silver. I don't know how well it works versus gold, however.
Anything that can very easily and consistantly topple monoaethers and discords should be able to grind gold pretty effectively right now, so monodarkness should be at least somewhat effective in gold as of now. The more popular gold and plat grinders is Pdials and some SouFflé/SoBra rush, because both of these decks pretty much wreck those two builds/cards.

So... I wouldn't recommend using it to grind gold, but it could work.

That   :life... only 2 pillars are just not enough.
If I had more time right nowI would write a long analysis but I suggest you looking at a pair of tutorials of the forums, some of them have some deckbuilding tips you seem to need. You can also pick a mentor to get introduced to the deck tipes and such. You have a good amount of upgrades so starting to make a couple of effective decks should take no time.

Hi fiskers,

Same as Chapuz alluded to above, I see a few conflicts within the structure and purpose of the deck. And understanding what you wrote, I don't think that figuring a way to streamline it in its current configuration would be the best approach here.

Instead, I'd like to ask you a few questions:

- Are you primarily concerned with grinding Silver (and other arenas) in an efficient manner?

If so, then you can take a look at this thread for some deck suggestions:  http://elementscommunity.org/forum/farming-studies-and-statistics/decks-used-against-arena-with-stats-1-32/msg1030568/#msg1030568

- Are you more interested in learning how to progress through the game and becoming more proficient in all aspects?

If so, then this section has a wealth of information:  http://elementscommunity.org/forum/tutorials/

If that link seems like an overload of information at this time, I personally found this guide to be new comer friendly: http://elementscommunity.org/wiki/Furball%27s_tutorial

- Do you just want the above deck "fixed" in a manner that is more satisfactory to your game goals?

If so, then you can either state that here, and people will give their opinions on how they would do so.

- I see a lot of the darkness element in your upped card selections. If you really enjoy playing that element in particular, you can PM me and we can develop an approach to the game based on that - or I can help find someone who is more suited to your other interests in EtG.

Thank you again everyone.

DeathKnyte, after reading all of the replies I think it would be beneficial for me to explore some other cards and decks. I am going to read through the tutorial now.

To answer your question, I am interested in learning more about the game as whole.

I guess I knew the deck wasn't solid, but it worked well for a while. I used it in silver and brought myself up to level 26 pretty quickly. But it hit a wall and it isn't doing me anymore favors. I have no problem dumping it. I think because it worked well for a while it gave me a false sense of proficiency. Anyhow, I'll get back to you after I read the tutorial and bring myself up to speed.

Thanks again all!
