I think there isn't any speed rainbows un-upped because normally the speed comes from supernovas.

And, take out photons and put crimson dragons? you can Immolate the phoenixes since they won't die anyway. or if you want just replace the lava golems - they don't do much, and you won't generate more then 6 earth quanta in the whole game -  really not enough to make all those guys survive a rof or any other critter-controling spell.

You need photons to get any monster out.

And could I maybe replace the golems with lycanthropes and other quanta using creatures?

first of all, not necessarily. you could easily bring a critter out immolating one of the brimstones eater.

Secondly, you could replace the golems with lycanthropes and other critters - but you said mono-fire.

obviously, you could replace the golems with 3-lycanthropes 3-forest spirit, or chuck a graboid in, or lots of other things, but you asked for mono-fire. you could also change mark to time and throw in 6 precognitions instead of the golems to make your draws come faster, but that's your call.

In other words, they are useless un-upped.
