Actually I feared that too : what will happend if this lonely fractal doesn't show ?

So if they don't have EQ I don't see the point in uppgrading those pillar and pend and playing upped poison just looks way better.

I would keep our mark as Death no matter what they play. If we have a lot of :time then we won't have enough :death and he just won't play the nightmare. But it's an interesting idea, and it might be the best way to go. I think we should test this.

Upped Poisons would help damage, but they each net us -2 quanta since they cost +1 and prevent us from upping 1 pillar. I guess we could cut out 1 Bonewall. We need 6 lightnings, 1 Fractal, and 2 Dragons. 6 lightnings are essential to stop their chargers; we need 1 lightning for every charger Gravity runs. the 1 Fractal makes a big difference to help damage. 2 Dragons are there so we usually have a target to Fractal by the time we have quanta for it.

It's not a huge problem if Fractal doesn't show; our Dragons are still useful and we have Poisons. It's not worth using a second Fractal. We would have many draws without the quanta for it or without a target for it.

I agree with all you said Root. And I didn't said we need a second fractal because it'd be a bad idea.. still upped poison are 50% better (in damage) than unupped I think that it can make a difference.

Remember too you can change the ups so if something is working better or you need something you can always do that... I was also thinking, since you are able to change your mark and such I wonder if having the deck vs :darkness have 6 wings would be good.. blocking a lot of dmg and them having to steal them while us still having spiders to web, poisons and dragons to get past. Any thoughts?

Adding Wings to the Darkness deck would be worth a try, at least. But I wouldn't bring them out until late in the matcj, when Darkness find that it isn't worth using Steals against us.

Changed: 8 pillars / 4 death pends (need to convert a few pends to pillars), -1 arsenic, -1 bonewall, -2 plague

Wish we could keep the plagues in case of something but had to ditch them for wings.

for me the mono death is perfect, just use it 1 times and I guess opponent will remove steal no ? then use wings.

I sent wizardcat a PM about our match haven't gotten one back as of yet. Man this round is so short really only tomorrow left to play it... and there are a few things I need to get done tomorrow >< I should be around somewhat but if he doesn't respond or :darkness really wants to play, im ok with someone stepping up to play.
