it could only slow 2 turns.. if sundials are used. no attack = no life gain. so they could end up losing 30 life and gaining nothing. sundials just became  way more powerful than before once this shard is out.
True, using a Sundial against SoS can mitigate the defense and cause it to only slow your offense by 2 turns total. However usually SoS will slow the opponent by 4 turns.
that may be the USUAL case.. until people start throwing sundials in upgraded or not just for the 1 turn stall to prevent the SOS from ruining things. I took mine out due to new cards and they were only useful in some situations to prevent a death and if i could turn it around somehow.. but with this shard i will most definitely be adding at least 2 back in and reworking things in my deck.

random question.. what if vamps hit this.. do i still game the damage? even though they healed? or will it work like antimatter and ill take the damage from my vamp? does poison still accumulate?
Good questions.
Vampire passes on the healing before the damage is swapped with healing (both heal)
Poison is a condition and will still accumulate but the damage should be swapped with healing during SoS.

Instead: -15 hp, 1 turn of damage swap. -10 hp if death mark. costs  :rainbow 4

My biggest issue with it is it not costing any quanta (if in a death deck).
Very OP :s

Still my favourite suggestion.

The benefit to :death is more subtle, and it's less OP.
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

I like new version. 30 hp loss and 2 turns seems balanced

I think lowering it down to 1 hp is fair meaning you wil never kill yourself with an accidental click. But I also think it should only last 1 turn.

I think iit should instead do this.

"Sacrifice 30 hp, or reduce it to 1; whichever is greater. Drain all  non :death quanta. Damage and healing is inverted for 2 turns."

This does several things-
Increases the cost of using it
Makes it harder to chain

The reducing to 1 hp was great -In Theory- I just think it made it too easy to chain. Although perhaps it was changed because getting down to 1 hp was too large of a gamble? If so then disregard this. However, if it was just because it would be too easy to chain, then I say this would be a better route due to how powerful it is.

Well, we now have involuntary MaxHP reduction in Shard of Void; it clearly opens the door for voluntary MaxHP reduction through Shard of Sacrifice.  I'd like to hear anyone give a good reason why that's a bad idea. :)
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

I'd make it reduce your max HP and current HP by 25%, last 1 turn.
