I am using a mono darkness deck in CL (-1 Steal | + 1 Siphon Life). I thought it could be also good in Bronze, since Bronze has many Mono Aether, Grabbow and Mono Death decks.
I played 101 games and this are the results (Note: I only count decks >99 hp in the statistic. All decks under 99 hp are NOT in the statistic. Anyways, I didn't lose to any deck that was <99 hp):
Wins: 96
Loss: 5
Winrate: 95.05%
TTW: 9,83
EM%: 24%
Play tips:
- Of course play the pillars and pends first.
- First priority has Vamp Dagger, unless you play vs a deck you fear many steals.
- Play Gargoyles before Vampire in the beginning. Usually you can play one, sometimes two creatures in Turn 2. In this early game phase your opponent usually has no damage or just small dmg out. Thats why more damage is better than heal in this situation. Also against Bonewall decks it's mostly usefull to let the gargoyles hit first, since mono death decks are pretty fast and the heal can rescue you. There are some exceptions like Immo rush decks because they make fast dmg, you should heal it from beginning.
- Eclipse: This card is more than a boost for dmg. It is worth to play it when you have at least two creatures out. If your opponent has bonewall out or can play bonewall then play a creature instead of eclipse (mostly, just do the math). Like I already said it's more than an atk boost. If you face a mono fire deck in Bronze or sometimes also in Immolation decks then keep an eye on RoF (Rain of Fire). Your creatures have all only 3 hp, one RoF and your field is empty. So if you face a mono fire deck and 1. you have an Ecplise in your hand, play it after your frist creature or 2. you have no Ecplise in your hand, keep one creature in your hand for the case Rain of Fire comes over you. This card can also protect your creatures in the beginning of the match and mostly the Ai wasted a Fire bolt and Fire quanta on a creature he doesn't kill.
- Mono Aether: I really, really played so many matches vs MA (Mono Aether) decks. Play Steal wisely, really, don't play it in turn 3 when your opponent don't make much dmg and you only have just ONE creature out. The AI will play Lobo and Lightning on Gargoyles first, so play them before Vampire.
- Don't forget to put Dusk Mantle in your deck, trust me.
I'm sure I forget to tell you some things I wanted to say but I think everyting is clear after doing some own experience.
Actually I am a bit disappointed because of the EM rate, I thought it would be a bit higher, well, but at least it's fast.
Have fun and good luck.
