NOTES:
originally a shard idea, works just as well with pretty water. (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,28937.0.html)

a creature with 4 attack would heal you for 4 each turn.  an antimattered creature with 4 attack would damage you for 4 (with possible damage reduction).  a vampire would heal you once and that is it (effectively neutering the vampire).  an antimattered vampire would damage you (with possible damage reduction) and heal your opponent.  (and the game explodes if this card is used on a creature while shard of sacrifice is in play)

How would a vampire heal you twice if it this cards stops the creature from dealing dmg, and thus stopping the vampire from stealing your opponent's hp. Same for dealing dmg if AM'd.

Although the mechanics seems cool, I can't seem to comprehend(thematically) how would a creature heal you instead of damaging the opponent, a vampire ok, it's stealing life, but that just doesn't seem to make sense for me.

the central idea is that a creature shifts its focus from damaging the opponent to healing you- sort of like a reverse-antimatter in a way, in that it heals you instead of your opponent.

the vampire mechanic is tweeked a bit as a result, the heal it does to you is then considered to be equivalent to dealing damage to your opponent, and thus it heals you for an additional amount.  and thus when antimattered, it deals damage rather than heals.

Wow. Cool Idea. I would like to use something like this with some of my decks. it is a very cool concept and it is nicely balanced too. I think it would definitely make for some interesting matches.

Very, very interesting effect, somewhere between Antimatter and Vampire.

I give a thumbs up :D

thanks :)

another alternative to the vampire issue is have it ignore the vampire part of the card and just heal once, but when antimattered and damages you, heal your opponent- effectively the normal effect of an antimattered vampire.

With the vampire I would suggest you just have it heal you once as you said. Making pointless to use it on a vampire, but I think that is still the best option for the "vampire issue"
Really nice idea though.

fits well with water.. could make a lot of their synergies work more effectively. I like it, though the vampire mechanic not so much..
It seems to me just 1 heal and no damage.. when it attacks it takes health and gives it to you.. for it to 'heal' you then give you life.. where does it get the life to give the second time?

moomoose has been coming up with a lot of interesting ideas lately ^-^

I agree with the vampire effect change.

I think the card names "Tranquil" and "Pacific" work well with water, and I think this ability works well with water thematically, but I feel like for this spell there might be a better fitting card name.

i had tried for a while to come up with a better name, but they tended to side more towards religion or something :life related, i wanted it to be water as i felt the effect feels more watery than the other elements.
