Interesting idea, goes quite well with Sylph (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,21608.0.html). :P

Sylph is an :air Air card created by me that enters invisible and can grant invisibility to other creatures. This Sonar could disrupt that aid.
Indeed, more and more new creation have the ability to be invisible (e.g. Shade | Spectre (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,20230.0.html)). It is nice, it makes more sense for some creatures than to be immortal. However, having a way to counter it is also nice, IMO.

Mm, we've had some Shockwave-on-a-stick cards before. They're a terrible idea, considering how easy it is to freeze a lot of creatures between Squid, Ice Bolt and especially Freeze and Ice Shield. I don't quite see how a Sonar could be that powerful either. How do you weaponize something like that?

I've thought about making a Sound Mage that could do exactly this: Shockwave effect without the damage, but after playing against Permafrost, I went "...no".

Good point, I would consider making a damage effect that only applies to any creature that was in invis mode,
and was uncovered by sonar, rather constant shockwave-on-a-stick.

So you think that the shock part is to powerful? What if it requires two shocks to destroy? Or if it "may destroy" with a 50% (or less) chance?

@Flayne: Concerning the steam-punk look. I might have a lead on a fitting art. What do you think of that: http://tolagunestro.deviantart.com/gallery/?catpath=/&offset=72#/d2ld5q9 ? We could call it Dolphin Heart or Echo Shocker ...

The shock part is way too strong, and based on the low cost I think the (rather low) % kill is a good idea. Maybe make it on par with skull shield, chance based on hp. What about that?

I'd personally be fine with the latter. Very frustrating to play against, but that gives you some leeway to rush or dig up some PC from your deck. You should be punished for not packing PC, after all. Now if we could just get some more good options for PC..

Warning - Card Rework.

I was compiling some data for my Portfolio (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,26141.0.html) and I realised that air and water have already quite a lot of CC (yes I needed that). I was making the card less interesting. Moreover, Higurashi's first comment made me realise that the repeated shock-wave effect was probably too powerful. Flayne's comment about the technology in element achieved to convince me that the card needed a rework. I tried to transform the card into a denial card (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,26063.0.html) - what do you think?

I would say it is the same yes (Scramble 10 :rainbow). I f someone has an good argument to change the scrambling algorithm, it might maybe be modified.

Hmmm... interesting rework. I kind of liked the original "shatter" effect, but I find this to be a better idea. To quote TM:

I had an idea similar to this, but it would have been a  :darkness creature (Bat / Dire Bat).  Don't want to submit it and be accused of stealing ideas though, without asking you if you would be OK with my submitting the idea.
