Though you say they live in lakes you specifically put them as Sea and Ocean creatures.... hmm. Yeah, my bad  :-[ . I may need to alter the bio.
As for the Growth and DR on this card, I'd say the DR would be the passive and the Growth would be the active, so it combos better with mitosis, and Acceleration can't be abused with this card.

It's not easy to summon 7 creatures into field when you hold this in hand.
I'm afraid this card will be another new card design for FG deck and collecting only...
If the ability will also work in the middle row with Flooding, this card will be more useful for players.
May also change it will DRY without water(Flooding). Or no reduce to fire(poison still hurt but no stack).  ;)
