Wow this is a pretty badass little bird. Are you sure 16|8 isn't a bit too much? I mean Phase Dragon is 13 :aether and has 9|6 (unupped) and is immaterial. This costs 16 :air and has 13|7 (unupped) and is basically immortal. (Except rewind and Eternity). Not even thunder bolt can kill this guy.

Play the other card and paradox is worthless.

The creature is HUGE requiring various turns to get out and suceptible to rush but makes an awesome end game creature. Phase Dragon is different in that it comes pre-immortalised and you can grind away. The Ruhk on the other hand requires you to setup an out of element card to get that benefit really increasing its cost into the 20 mark. Air also, unlike Aether, has no Early game defence so you have to balance the power with the ability to stay alive.

Does anything make this card unappealing?

I think the two card ideas are kinda cool, but I do have a problem with the similarity between the names. Because they are pronounced almost the same and have roughly similar spelling, it can be troublesome to distinguish between the two. Other than that, I like the "bomb" factor of this huge creature.

Even ignoring the synergy with Rook (which is cute), Ruhk is so damn powerful and on an 'extreme' (Ruby Dragon, a Flying Titan, and Miracle are examples of 'extreme' cards) that I can't really think of many mono- :air that would want to make this card integral to their set up. :air stalls are uncommon, so if this card were to be implemented, I could see some people trying to balance this with cards such as Wings and Eagle's Eye to have generous amounts of creature control/defense, alongside massive damage.

I don't like the D3 mechanic though. Can't we just say '2' damage on average and call it a day, rather than having all these randomized damage variables on a card? ^^;; Otherwise, I kind of like it, especially the art and the 'predator' theme it has going on. ;) Yes, I voted for this card for the competition since there were no air/earth duos, since I realized air is lacking in terms of off-element synergy besides fire/life.
