This is a pretty simple idea, but it creates a lot of synergy between Life and Death.

NAME: Bee ELEMENT: Life COST: 2 TYPE: Creature ATK|HP: 3|3 TEXT: Hive Mind: Dies if you do not have at least 1 Queen Bee on the field.   : Sting	NAME: Wasp ELEMENT: Life COST: 2 TYPE: Creature ATK|HP: 3|3 TEXT: Hive Mind: Dies if you do not have at least 1 Queen Wasp on the field.   : Infection

ART: Bugaboo Pest Control, Bornacoola Honey and Xenocidius. IDEA: Xenocidius NOTES: :Sting makes the creature using it lose 1 HP and adds 1 poison counter to the target creature. :Infection is already in the game, and is like :Sting without losing any HP. Bee|Wasp is not a standalone creature, and can only be obtained through the Queen.

EDIT: Reduced quanta costs for the Queens by 1.

I don't quite understand. If it makes a difference, Bee|Wasp is not a standalone creature.

The Casting Cost of Bee|Wasp should be calculated as if it were a standalone card.
Once you have that value you can plug it into the equation I posted to tell you the balanced Casting Cost of the Queen Bee|Queen Wasp.

I don't see how it's less powerful than a FFQ. Same stats, ability, and casting cost. And what it spawns are more powerful, in my opinion. I think it's an overall decent and balanced card. Without the queen bee, it's bee's die, and that's a good offset for it's ability. Might be a bit too powerful, at that, for poison decks.

Nah. The only difference is that sting makes the Bee lose 1 HP.

 This is what made me think it loses 1 HP, plus adding a poison counter.

-Use the pipe or divider symbol, "|", to separate the stat values in both of your ATK|HP sections of the tables. Do not use slashes or '/', because those do not match with the card image
-Please provide links to your artwork; google is an automatic death sentence for it to get to the crucible.


I appreciate what this card is doing, especially as it re-establishes the subtle combination of and in a deck - Thorn Carapace and Scorpions not withstanding, of course. I also like the touch of how Sting 'kills' the bee; in real life, Bees generally die upon stinging a perceived hostile target if their stingers gets lodged deeply into the skin, because when they try to fly away afterward, the stinger is left behind (alongside a huge part of their internal anatomy and skin), which makes them vulnerable/sensitive to the environment.

I guess the question is: Fireflies or Bees? Decisions decisions for a creature spam deck...
