I'd have to go with patch on this one, as is I would never use the unupped. I may recieve a burst of quanta for 1 turn, but likely I would use that quanta and this card would be destroyed(I asume) in the end I would gain very little. At least with patch's idea the unupped provides the intended burst(though still with a drawback) while the upped maintains the net production of a normal pillar.

The card is not destroyed if quantum hit zero before full drain happens. (Part of the balance comes from being able to handle the "tides" of quantum produced).

I agree with raising production, though.

Not to be picky, but the topic name doesn't seem to match the card name.
Fun idea though. I definitely like the new upped production level. The old version didn't seem that useful but this version definitely will be.

This topic uses a similar naming format as Gem Maker | Gem Factory (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,32317.0.html) and Temple of [Element] | Shrine of [Element] (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,16622.0.html) because there is supposed to 1 for each element so this represents the concept under a single idea.
