Also, I was to quick to post the card idea.  I had left out a second half, but my computer is refusing to cooperate with me.

I know your old card targets only creatures while your new card can target both creatures and permanents, but still...

EDIT: If I were you, I would make it target permanents only and to destroy only 1 permanent and 1 adjactent permanent. I would also increase its cost by 1 or 2 in both versions.
