Has the same goal, yes, but still quite different.  Also, this was not just about "what can I do to make Antlions usefu?l", but also provides for an alternate source of damage ie. while the damage done depends on the creatures, it's about how many burrowed creatures you have, as opposed to how strong your creatures are.

I was going for something useful to do with burrowing creatures, but not making it 'Supernova' useful.  Maybe this is an old and tired idea, maybe it isn't, I dunno.
