Well, shucks. What if it removed momentum from attackers after the attack?

I.E. "Shield: Blocks 1|2 damage. After attacking, creatures lose the Momentum ability."

People could still get their scorp sting in, and Chargers still have strong damage. Apply momentum again and your scorp will have high enough attack to get through even though it loses Momentum; the shield simply reduces the number of scorps you can use.

Or I could repurpose the art for something completely different, I guess, but :gravity is still going to need a nice simple bread-n-butter shield to complement its funky, sometimes-amazing often-lame cousin Gravity Shield.

Is it a shield? If so, then No.

Immaterial: Cannot be targeted.
(Cards that remove immaterial by targeting will never be able to target the immaterial creature. Therefore no "remove immaterial from target" cards.)
Momentum: Ignore shield effects.
(Shield that affect Momentum'd creatures will never be able to effect the momentum'd creature. Therefore no Shields that affect momentum'd creatures.)
