The chance to deflect a damage source will be calculated by plugging 10 times the ratio of the weapon damage divided by the damage source's damage into the catapult formula. E.g. where W=weapon damage, S=damage source %Chance to deflect = (W / S * 10 * 100)/(W / S * 10 + 100) So if your weapon deals the same amount of damage as an incoming source then there is a 10% chance that it will get deflected to a randomly chosen enemy target. This chance will affect its owners equipped weapon as well as any that are flown. Crusaders will not be counted. Only damage sources which are deflected will cause to be absorbed. If the player does not have any left, one of these cards will be destroyed (like flooding). If a player has more than one of these in play, it increases the number of attacks that may be deflected each turn but not the chance to deflect. So basically, deflecting attacks with your weapon...Interesting idea. If it was buffed/altered a bit, this could be made into a third shield-type card for

I'm guessing it can't be deflected to permanents,.
Card image says "delfect."
Is the deflected damage the same type as the damage source?
Maybe this card would be better as a shield?

The main goal is to expand on the use of flying weapon, particularly under the air element.

I was debating making it a shield, but I kind of like the idea of having it stack. Its supposed to represent the player mastering a mystical artform that enhances their weapons.

As a shield card it would need to be modified a good deal, but if people think it should be made a shield it could certainly work out that way too.

It would be a different thematic feel, but the end effect would be pretty similar.
