NOTES:
This shield records (on its portrait) the physical damage that passed through the shield each turn. It does not record spell damage or poison damage. It also does not record damage from momentum'd attacks or 'negative' (antimatter'd) attacks which are not affected by shield effects.
When the shield's owner uses its ability, (s)he is healed back by the the amount recorded on the shield. Then the shield is delayed for two turns (technically three turns, since one turn elapses immediately at the end of the owner's turn), forcing its owner to use the ability once in three turns at most. Damage reduction works even while the shield is delayed.

Designed to have a good synergy with Elapse.

Hey! A shield that can make use of multiple copies better! Just play a new one after using the ability to avoid the delay.
It is the greatest mystery of all...

Seems like a nice stall to me.  Gives Time a little healing.  I'm not sure it's better than Procrastination, but, for the cost it might compete for a slot.

Nice card.

If the delays work the same way as weapon delays, the new shield would also be delayed. I think a better idea is to use it together with sundials or SoSac. It would also work well with this http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,29525.msg1040342.html#msg1040342

I like this card! Don't think it needs too much balancing either.

I believe that this card is quite well balanced. It gives time the ability to undo the past in an entirely new way: the removal of injury. Nice job!

I've submitted this for the Crucible. Thanks for all these kind comments.

On a side note, I think it is time to explain my intention to pair this to another idea of mine, Elapse:
You can find an obvious synergy which enables the shield to activate its ability on every other turn, but the combo truly shines when the weapon is flown or endowed  (here the weapon form has its meaning) so that you have another 'Elapse' ability on your field. This allows the shield to function like Dimensional Shield without expiration, though the combo has high upkeep of 3 :time per turn and is vulnerable to both CC and PC.

Bonus.
Spoiler for the motive of this idea:

Seems like a nice stall to me.  Gives Time a little healing.  I'm not sure it's better than Procrastination, but, for the cost it might compete for a slot.

Nice card.
In the case of a steady flow of damage each turn, this card will provide less effective damage mitigation than procrastination.
Procrastination blocks 50% physical damage over 2 turns of effective output.
This blocks about 33% physical damage over 3 turns of effective output.
So its about 1/6 or 16.7% less effective in terms of raw damage mitigation.

When certain creature abilities are also considered, it becomes even less effective, since these will also get a "50% mitigation" for procrastination due to delay. This shield provides no such benefit.

Now this shield could provide better than 33% mitigation benefit if the owner could also control fluctuations in enemy damage output appropriately, but I'm hard pressed to fabricate a situation where the mitigation outweighs procrastination's.

Its a very cool concept, but in the long run ends up being a less effective shield.

One good thing it does have going for it, however, is that it is more resistant to steal since the opponent would need a :time source to power it.

Its a fun card. I wish it had a little more oomph myself (e.g. I wish it could accumulate / store more than one turn of damage), but considering the low cost it may be okay as is.

At one half the price of procrastination, the cost-benefit may actually lean slightly toward this shield's favor. The low cost also means that it will be useful as a "splash" card that can be thrown into a deck and powered off of a mark or other off element quanta production.

I do like the fact that it is useful to include multiple copies in a deck.

Its all around a pretty decent card. Not spectacularly powerful, but definitely a fun and unique concept.
Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?

The shield's 'damage reduction by 1' shouldn't be ignored here,
In the case of a steady flow of damage each turn, this card will provide less effective damage mitigation than procrastination.
Procrastination blocks 50% physical damage over 2 turns of effective output.
This blocks about 33% physical damage over 3 turns of effective output.
So its about 1/6 or 16.7% less effective in terms of raw damage mitigation.
but I also agree that this is still less effective than Procrastination, especially in the long run.

As a standalone card (without the aid of other card ideas), splashing is its distinguished usage as Rutarete has pointed out,
though it may require some rework on game mechanics according to andretimpa:
Hey! A shield that can make use of multiple copies better! Just play a new one after using the ability to avoid the delay.

If the delays work the same way as weapon delays, the new shield would also be delayed. I think a better idea is to use it together with sundials or SoSac. It would also work well with this http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,29525.msg1040342.html#msg1040342
