Apart from time, the Ankh Tank grants a soft counter to CC and also can be used in TankBows to protect your precious other tanks. Otherwise, if you feel this UP right now, I can lower the skill or the card cost, or increase the attack power to be as versatile as Anubis.

Well, it's probably good as it is now. Resurrection is a pretty nifty trick. Also has good synergy with Anubis, considering you could quint. your brittle creatures.

I can dig up the quote if needed, but unfortunately I believe Zanz has more or less nixed the idea of a graveyard.

This card only affects the last ally to fall, so a full fledged graveyard isn't needed... but it may still be a bit to close.

On the other hand, maybe you could pattern the ability to be something akin to Graviton Salvager, but for creatures.

The idea about creature salvaging is good, but then it wouldn't have an ability cost. I don't know much about game mechanics implementing, but maybe the Ankh Tank would be a mobile graveyard, and the ability should only be activatable if someone died in the previous turn, generating a 1-turn graveyard.

Not a graveyard like that, but one that creates an individual deck that contains a player's dead creatures. Odin said Zanz nixed the idea of graveyards and since my dictionary doesn't contain that word, I think it means that Zanz declined the idea of having individual graveyards, in a discussion that I'm looking for right now.

Don't feel too bad about the idea coming up before. Its very likely that many ideas have already been proposed sometime in the past. Unfortunately, there's no way to know for sure if a card idea is completely unique without spending a massive amount of time searching the anals of the card ideas forum or having an insane memory and being around a long time.

That said, revitalizing a previous concept isn't necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes a good card can end up being made from a twist off of an old forgetten or broken one.

At first I was expecting that it was a joke, but then I rejected the idea, because I was not sure.

Thanks for your ideas! I start working on avoiding implementing a graveyard in the game while still using the revival effect.

How about this method?



Easier to carry out for zanz. On another note, this ability is a bit different from the older version. It now has a real synergy with SoR if you have multiple creatures on the field, but it cannot revive early-fallen creatures unfortunately.
