No.

One, I don't quite like the idea of a spell granting gills to targets temporarily.

Two, it seems too lazy to me with thematics to just tack on a name [e.g. Triton's, Atlantis', Poseidon's, etc.] to a word like 'Blessing.'

I was thinking about bubbles too! Like a magic bubble that wrap a creature...
And maybe bubbles could prevent a single opponent targeting, but then the bubble will burst.
So it can be used as a single use mass quintessence AND to better use flooding.

Magic Bubble sounds much better fitting the game than scuba-gear. It could also add a more complex mechanism:

• the bubble moves the creature into the flooded area and protects it from the flood and also protects it for 1 attack
• when the creature is attacked, the attack  bursts the bubble instead of hitting the creature's health
• if the creature's element is water, it can survive in the flood without bubble, otherwise it dies from the flood after the bubble is burst

I like it because it's less situational.
It can be used even without flood, but it has an interaction with flood too.

I'm not sure about the "move the creature into flooded area". I don't know, it seems unnecessary.

I did that to say that they were moving from the original spot. Should I say something else, like say, "Relocate creatures outside of original area?"

So if we want to remove flooding from motion references we could just reword it from:

"Ally creatures in a non-flooded area are moved to a flooded area and cannot be killed by flooding."

To something like:

"Ally creatures in central field slots are moved to the edge of the field and cannot be killed by flooding."

Effectively it does the same thing, and now there would be no need to already have flooding in play.
