You've got some coding errors in that post Yoyo :P

But honestly. I didn't like any of the submitted ideas and I was not able to submit one, mostly due to my procrastination XD My vote goes to Scyther

I have corrected all the mistakes.

Anyway, even I think most entries are too tricky, but probably if we hadn't had so many problems with the server during the competition, more people would have posted.

Bloodshadow obviously.

All the other reworks were just like... unlikable, and all the same, about turning creatures into creatures using other creatures. BOOOOOOOORIng.

Wait, you can submit stuff that didn't have images? I didn't know! >.<

Anyways, some of these are mediocre while others are below par. This competition was interesting but it's not going to yield brilliant results like the others did.

I think I agree with the general sentiment that these, for the most part, aren't particularly good.

Vamipre Stilletto: Can't see the card, but I'm guessing its ability reduces attack from the description. That could work (though I don't know if it fits the theme of Vampirism as set for this game). However since I can't see the card I have no idea.

Lycanthrope: This is probably one of the two best submissions that I can see, but I still prefer the original over this suggestion. The ability is a little more interesting, but I don't think the game needs more infection/transform effects right now. It gets one of my votes.

Minor Vampire: I prefer the original ability. This one is clunky and again infection/transform effects aren't really needed.

Vampire: Blood Lust is actually an interesting ability, but it's kind of like a one-turn scavenger which costs quite a lot. The card is IMO a little underpowered; I'd certainly prefer to take the original version in my deck over the suggestion.

Hematite Golem: Horribly clunky mechanic which would be a nightmare to sort out all the edge cases for, and probably not hugely useful. Still, quite imaginative, so points for that.

Abomination: Nice mechanic, but I'm not sure about the random skill, which could make these cards extremely powerful. Multiple-use destroy or steal can be incredibly powerful, and getting one of these out on the first turn will be a game-winner. Having said that, this is the most interesting reworking I've seen so it gets my other vote.

Clunky?  It's quite simple.  When coding a buff, I'm assuming either attack is applied first or defense is applied first.  If we're dealing with a blessing-esque situation, once one is applied, the balancing is applied before the other one is.  Any blessing effect cancels itself out by the definition of the mechanic.  Rage potion ironically has it's effect doubled.  Antimatter makes HP go WAY up when making the attack negative.

See, simple as can be.  Any questions?

That's kinda the review I was going for.  It's not the card that was good perse, but the ability.

Still, it's not getting any votes =(

Vote to extend this competition? My submission is now late due to the forum crash.

Here it is in brief though - not sure if it qualifies due to it being two cards... but oh well.

Malignant Cell
Merge: :death :death Target Cell turns into a Malignant Growth, this Cell dies. If target is Malignant Growth, that card gets +1/+1 and this Cell dies.

Alternatively, if this is against the rules as it is two cards (the Malignant Growth is simply a 2/2 Malignant Cell which does not spawn a new cell every turn).

Merge: :death :death Target Malignant Cell gets +1/+1, this Cell dies.

I have fixed my original topic. You can see the image now.

The dagger saps the strength of its target, and return the sapped energy to you as HP. Fits vampirism, I think.
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.
