Elements Triathlon

Elements Triathlon has been still for a while. Now, we can finally decide what to do with it -- And of course, it's up to the participants to decide if they still want to keep going!

We don't know how everyone in the teams are doing now, so this is, as you can see, just a basic poll to gather the thoughts of you as to what to do with the event. Continue it? Allow it, with the Teams being able to replace a few members? After all, it's been a while, so some people may not be too interested in continuing it. Or maybe, since it has been laying for so long, it's time to let it rest?

All of these are viable options, and since the Competition is all about you guys, there's no reason not to make a poll to gather feedback!

I still want to participate. Some teams will probably need modifications. Maybe if they are too many it would make more sense restarting, but I prefer starting from where we stopped (voted in the poll).

I have interest in continuing with this event.  However, I am unsure of the status of the rest of my team (Pella and ji412jo) who have taken varying degrees of hiatus from Elements in the interim.

I liked the event basically, but I'd vote for a rule change. Because it was only about who could invest more time, which quickly demotivated everyone except 2 or 3 players iirc.

Agree. Some people (looking at you, BeefSupreme and andretimpa ) spent a ridiculous amount of time into making those screenies, and I got a little tired after a few days.

This is true, shorter stages that don't focus on speed and quantity could be the answer. The second and third stages seemed like they'd be completely different.

On my defense I was waiting for my simulations to run in the university cluster most of the time . I wouldn't be able to pull it off lately.

However, I'd hate to see all the time I invested into this event go to waste. I voted continue as normally. If we restarted, I don't know if I'd participate.

I suggest either restarting the event with the rules changed or continue it as it was but with different teams (if and wherever needed) and future challenges should follow the new rules.

Well, this outcome was almost guaranteed, since most of the teams were pretty far behind... sad to see all the work my team put in going to waste.
