The World of Elements was peacefully ruled by Zanzarino. It was a beneficial environment where all were welcome and the laws were the opposite of strict. Over time, though, hundreds of years passed, and Zanzarino suddenly disappeared. Word came out that Zanzarino was taken hostage by Incarnate and his children. Zanzarino was becoming possessed, but in his last controllable breath, he killed Incarnate, but not his children of 12, or his Soul. That... was the role of the Overlord.

The Incarnate Child of Entropy, Pandemodus, is a chaotic individual. He liked rowdy parties and often played tricks on his friends, enemies, and even siblings. He is a menace on the battlefield, as no one knows what this trickster might do.

The Incarnate Child of Death, Ostekudd, is quite the weight on others. He likes annoying them and getting whatever he can out of it, and even got into a few scandals. This child, along with the Umbra Incarnate, Eclipso, was the main reason Zanzarino was imprisoned and possessed. On the battlefield, he will hurt himself a little to hurt you a lot. He tends to be very reckless, however.

The Incarnate Child of Gravity, Akebonos, likes control. He wants to lead and conquer. He is also very aggressive, has a short temper, and is very, very determined. On the battlefield, he goes straight in, aiming to come straight out. He will never let up until you are a pile of negligent scrap.

The Incarnate Child of Earth, Ardenardel, has a literal heart of steel. He wants things to be in order, and he is down to earth at all times. He rushes down all who stand in his way of whatever he feels like doing, and this is no more apparent than during battle. Ardenardel WILL get his way.

The Incarnate Child of Life, Gradix, is energetic, fast, and always ready. She often drives her brothers crazy to the point of sheer annoyance. She even flirts with her brothers, but who can blame her, she's the only girl in her family. On the battlefield, she will rush you down while keeping herself healthy, and after she destroys your hopes of even getting close to winning, she'll act like the fight never even happened.

The Incarnate Child of Fire, Flekti, is a very determined spirit. He's very in tune with Gradix and Akebonos, even stating he would like to marry Gradix. If he falls, he gets right back up, like there was no pain at all. Flekti fights like a tank, using whatever scraps he can and then making a huge profit of seemingly useless things. If you let your guard down, you'll be dead in a matter of seconds.

The Incarnate Child of Water, Zethiken, likes hiding in the shadows. He's like a sly fox, waiting to catch his prey, just like that. He pressures many of his enemies into doing things for him, even targeting his more gullible siblings, specifically Akebonos. Zethiken was given the name "Ze Thinkin?" because of his high intelligence and almost foolproof tactics, and this shows in his astonishing performances. His deck may be bland, but his strategy... isn't.

The Incarnate Child of Light, Ramilce, is the most resilient of the children. He often stops fights between the other children and allows them to focus; working as a team. Ramilce is also one of the more "in charge" children; a leader, taking up for what he thinks is right. On the battlefield, he is the exact opposite. When it comes to outsiders, Ramilce is one of the first people to attack, doing everything in his power to succeed and best his opponent.

The Incarnate Child of Air, Jakatis, is an uncontrollable spirit that will never be contained. He has a mindset, and he's going to stay in that mindset no matter what his siblings think of him. Ironically, he tries to be in control, like many of his siblings. His strategy is fast and focused, just like he is, and you can NOT let up.

The Incarnate Child of Time, Ripplin, is a reckless, yet efficient personality. Ripplin had to get his jokes in, and he would always challenge the other children to a mock fight, even placing some of the stupidest bets out there. He is a planner, and that's no more evident than the climaxes of battle. He is up there with Flekti and Gradix as one of the fastest children out there.

The Incarnate Child of Darkness, Eclipso, is like a spider bite: subtle... then WHAM! Just like that, you can't do anything. He often antagonizes his siblings, even pressuring them to do things they don't want to. He only tends to get along with Ostekudd, as they have the same interests and are often partners in crime. Eclipso is no slouch, and he will try to take every other approach than the expected one. Eclipso likes trickery, and if you don't, well... I can't say much.

The Incarnate Child of Aether, Sylo, is one intelligent person, knowing what to do, when to do it, and how to do it. Sylo is definitely the only one who could possibly have a chance against Zethiken in a battle of wits, and because of their similar traits, they get along well like a charm. Sylo's strategy is quite flexible. So what if you have a Jade Shield? He might take a lot of damage per turn, but he is very adaptive. If you think you've won, keep going; prepare for everything.

The children did not seem like enough to Incarnate, so he knowingly kept his soul and invaded Zanzarino's body... possessing him. Zanzarino was forced to be a slave to the Incarnate. There was one thing that Zanzarino obtained, and that was a good setup... 75 quanta of each element... and a deck that is more than meets the eye.

Zanzarino was a stressed man, and Incarnate took him in at his darkest hour... the anger fueled in the possessed vessel. Yet, Zanzarino stayed resilient... fighting the curse, with the Overlord's help. It seemed that his strategy countered every other... but both Zanzarino and the Overlord found a way to separate vessel and curse.
The curse, lifted, had to fight for itself... and it would not rest until Zanzarino was his and the Overlord lay on the ground, with no quanta to hold himself in form... Soul Incarnate attempted one last time... fighting with a deck that seemed faster than lightning, with the major bolster of 75 quanta of each element.

The Soul, naive as it was, figured it countered everything... but... like the vessel-taken Zanzarino, he was thwarted. Soul Incarnate would be banished... forever... finally. The Overlord and Zanzarino reunited... and the forum rejoiced. People say... in Elements 1.4... the Overlord is lurking somewhere within the World of Elements.

The Overlord... recognized as a hero by Zanzarino, gained Zanzarino's trust and was given one wish... "I wish for Elements The Game to be reborn; as a game, a community, and a place where those with common interests can mingle and converse." Zanzarino, shocked at the Overlord's selflessness, gave him that wish, and ruled the World of Elements once again, and without incident as well, due to Incarnate's banishment. Without the grant of this deck and 75 quanta of every element to show the Overlord's mastery, it is said that this legend would not exist, and the World of Elements would be buried under kilometers of ash.
