Well, I think that a 3rd card can only be allowed in special circumstances like mine and Sunny's' where without said 3rd card one or more of the other cards make no sense.

The head is just summoned as an effect of the Hydra, so that makes sense. I'm a bit iffy on Icy's because the Ka doesn't really synergize with Ba

Yeah, I was concerned about it, too, but in an indirect way it does!

Want me to change it? No probs, but the mechanic will be pretty dull, not awesome like it is now.

I think you should leave Spirit Warrior and Ka, but Ba doesn't need to be in the thread. It should definitely be included in the thread for Spirit Warrior though.

I am well aware what the competition is about.

Synergy:

Simmer + Hydra = destroy your own hydra heads, increasing their damage each turn, then producing more of them when they die. This continues until your Hydra runs out of health and dies along with all the heads (unless you heal it...).

IMO, synergy from those two cards are how synergies should be made - they work great together, but dont reference each other on card.
Synergies like "when that other card is in play, this card becomes awesome" feel forced and unimaginative.
