The mark addition is a great idea. Cool. Very fitting too. I like it!

Although... yeah, the actual cards are quite lackluster. May I suggest to implement the mechanical concepts found in this thread (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,30640.0.html) instead? :)

So you want us to "complete" each element using helms? Helms are not a vehicle through which to complete elements. They have a theme they need to keep to: that they enhance the wearer's mental abilities; and that their effects are such that having more than one in play is redundant (like the Sanctuary effect of Sanctuary).

Besides, not all elements should be complete. That would make the game monotonous.

Any other feedback before we start posting the cards?

The "Helmet" concept seems interesting.  A tiny thing I'm concerned about though is that if they're added, there's no reason not to add shoes, gloves, then overalls...

I also don't like the helmets' actual abilities, though I'll save that for when the actual cards are posted.

You did not read the thread. I had to clarify and clarify what Complete meant for the readers to understand what was meant.

Time and Water do not rigorously stick to your "only affects wearer" rule.

Sorry. Solid offensive tools and solid defensive tools? I personally believe elements should either be focused to offense, focused to defense, or balanced but offense and defense aren't as powerful in those focused elements.

On-topic, I agree about Time and Water. Here are some other ideas that were tossed around:

Time: You can see your opponent's hand while wearing this.
Water: You are immune to poison; or: weapon abilities cost :water.

I Had an idea for the :fire helm. Weapon gains attack while player takes damage in the same manner rage potion works on creatures.

Quick idea

Berserker: Increase weapon's damage?
Light: Blinding effect? something like Dusk and Fog's effect?

I like the idea of having a new slot but I'm not super excited about "Helm".

The way I see it, Shield and Helm are designed to do the same thing which is to block attacks. Having Weapon + Shield + Accessory would make more sense to me. I would go with something like a Ring slot, because rings can have all kinds of magical powers.

Just a thought:
If elementals are humanoid (and I'm assuming they have at least two arms), we could theorectically have slots for:
Shields
Helmets
Armor
Accesories/Rings
Weapon
Footwear
Gloves

Based on where this seems to be heading Shields/Armor could share the shield slot, Helmets/Footwear/Gloves/Accesories/Rings would have one common slot, and Weapons is it's own slot.

Are there any alternate interpretations?
