Wow, I was thinking of a "chesspiece' kind of card of my own and then I saw this. It looks really interesting! :)

However it might need the cost to go up a bit or stats might need to be lowered.

Elemental Cost*1.5 + 1.5 = Other cost
6*1.5 + .5 = 9.5
6*1.5 + .5 = 9.5

Estimated Cost : 9 or 10

Can you explain what you are doing there?  I'm not sure I understand.

As for the idea, I like the concept, but the gravity pull seems like a death sentence.

As for the idea, I like the concept, but the gravity pull seems like a death sentence. Momentum is a strong ability since it bypasses shields. It also reflects how a piece that checks the king in chess can be captured to remove the threat of check.
Card cost for Other is determined by using Elemental value of the card.
I used Oldtrees's Card Design Formula (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,16655.0.html) to determine what the cost of the card would be if it was in an element, like :light .

Card Cost = Attack + HP Modifier + Ability Value + Bonus
Attack : 4
HP : +1 (6-7 HP)
Ability Value = +1 (Momentum, but with risk of self-destruct.)
Bonus : None
Final Value : 6

Attack : 5
HP : +2 (8-10 HP)
Ability Value = +1 (Momentum, but with risk of self-destruct.)
Bonus : -1 or -2 cost due to upgrades.
Final Value : 6

Quote
Elemental Cost*1.5 + 1.5 = Other cost

^is a conversion formula made by Oldtrees to convert the elemental cost into the Other cost. I took what I got from the Elemental cost and used it here.

Gravity pull that doesn't require gravity quanta. Angels + Blessings + this = quite a lot of shield penetrating damage.

I dislike all Other creatures on principal.  The concept's neat, but I'm not certain it belongs in Other.  Gravity wouldn't be too far of a stretch.

Chess pieces don't really fit any element, except Light and Darkness for colors. Light has Crusader, and Darkness doesn't really fit. Or maybe Time for "timeless"? I'm not sure exactly how old the game is, but the modern western variant dates to the middle ages.

I don't really want to get the cost up too high.
