The chance to return a card to the deck is defined by the equation: If x = [Creature's health] ... .         x > 0 ; ( ( 1 / 2x ) * 100 ) % P = { .         x = 0 ; 100% Altiuiri has a 1/8 chance of being returned to the deck as well. Creatures will be returned according to their placement on the field.  So the creature in slot one will be returned before slot two. Where did the theme come from for this one? (the inspiration) How does the ability tie in with the card - image & theme

Well, I've been meaning on working a series of sorts working with lesser reptiles (See:  Levii, Pyrtle).  Kind of like lesser dragons in a way.  Now, Wyvern and related notes are already used, so I had to dig a bit deeper.

Now, as a four winged being, it seems to need some control over air flow.  Tempest comes from it's mass control of currents, sending creatures back to their owners.  Also, creatures with larger health, which usually denotes larger size and weight, are least likely to be affected by the wind.  In exchange, creatures with smaller health, such as Ray of Light or Damselfly, have a 50% chance of being returned.

On that note, creatures with no health, such as Ball Lightning, will be automatically returned to the deck.

The cost seems a little bit low. You pay the same 4 as Wyrm but you have a 1 higher atk/def.
Also, the ability seems high. Every creature with 1 defense, even powerful ones like Phoenix or Fate Egg, have a 50% chance to get shuffled.

I was pretty sure Wyrm costs 3.  Regardless, with   Dive, it becomes a heavier hitter.

Tempest also affects your side.  And as you said, there's a CHANCE.  The return is not definite.  It may not look like it, but 50% is actually pretty small.

Ah, so it is.  Anyways, it has an ability to considerably raise its attack, so I feel it's balanced.
