As to BH and pest....
Pest may take 1 quanta, but it also generates 1 for you. It also has built in burrow.
BH takes 3 of all, and will also heal you.

Both of those cards have obvious advantages over this card. This is recurring, so It would be better for decks that rely on the mark, so thats why i have considered having it be an activated ability.

Ahhhhh not for me :S I think Devourer is scary enough... its the deck I run myself.

It might be balanced but I don't like the sound of it.  Perhaps destroy 2?

Does it stack? Is it put in the same pile (like pillars)

Can you only take six in a deck?

It would be like bonds. Only 6 but the effect stacks, Do you think 3 is too much? I mean, it wont kill mono decks since it will only take 1 quanta at a time.

I don't like the fact that the most you'll ever need in a deck is 4, even if there is permanent control.
I'd much rather see this at taking away two.

You're just as selfish as I am. You're just not as good at it yet.

i really dont want rainbows getting more advantages, i mean if youre playing a deck with 3 elements this pretty much makes 3 pillars useless, and if you have vital quanta which is only gained through your mark its even worse.

This at its very core is more helpful to mono decks. Sure against trio decks its a pain in the butt, however, trio decks already arent all that powerful. Thats why it can only drain 1 quanta of any type. So that you cant use 1 on a mono deck and destroy 3 of there quanta each turn.

This with devourers, gravity's black hole and some nightfall should do the trick, or with earthquake and devourers.
it would fit perfectly in a denial deck,
and to everyone who claims its op'd, its just a pain in the *ss for rainbows,
mono decks, like BP says, won't get hurt that much.

Tho, the fact that it's kinda cheap makes it playable quite fast for extreme rainbow denial, don't really like the idea of that...

Im definitly not a master card designer, s Im hoping someone with more exp will be able to give a hand on how to balance it properly. I added a poll. I sorta like it being an acivated ability... but we will see what the people say :)

This card seems perfect to me.

The only way it could be OP is against monos, but that's fixed, since it can't take more than 1 quantum of each element.

Seems perfect for stall/denial decks, which I agree need good cards made specially for those archetypes... I mean, many people agree that immolation and nova (and fractal) are OP, but they help rushes. We need some powerful (not OP) cards that can help stalls/denials, and I think this is a good starting point (we already have shards, so having this "other" perm sounds bad, unless it's a shard too).

Only reason I chose other is because I wanted it to be available to all players. I originally thought of having it as a tower, but decided it would be too OP like that.
