I really like this card idea. I think water could definitely improve by having a more potent freeze spell.

Most games are over in 9-12 turns.  Freeze target creature for 20 turns is the same thing as "kill target creature instantly regardless of its stats and occupy its space on the field with a pretty picture of ice."

Well it can be healed faster with Adrenaline. And iirc freeze status is instantly healed if you cast Quintessence on the creature.

You can still Reverse Time, Gravity Pull, Catapult, Quintessence etc. said frozen creature. And I really wouldn't put this in a rush, so you're probably using a stall, so the game might actually take more than twenty turns.

Also, I think 10 is a fair price for instant kill. Maxwell's Demon + Rage Potion costs 10 , while killing any unbuffed weakling. While being a duo and two cards, the demon also attacks and is reusable.

I kinda LOL'd at this. I can understand why you would think of such an idea but first off, the game would be over already by the time the creature is unfrozen. Secondly, I wouldn't want to spend that much quanta just to deal with one creature. heck, if I wanted to, I could destroy it with multiple ice bolts at hand for a cost less than this card.

They play a chimera. "LULZ. *absolute zero*" Yup.

This is mainly a stall card.

Also, you're not supposed to wait for it to thaw out, unless the idiot AI used Deep Freeze on your photon. It's a psuedo-instant kill, except for you can still catapult it, reverse time and replay it, quintessence to remove ice immediately, gravity pull it, I could go on.

You can instakill anything for  by casting Congeal + Shockwave. A single card that accomplishes an inferior version of the same effect with only 1 element should probably not cost more than 4-5 total.

Antimatter will remove a creature's attacking ability and turn it into healing, all for only 6 . Against most threats that's vastly superior to simply freezing it forever.

This is also, to be blunt, a really boring card. It only does one thing and it's not even very unique. Many instant spells have multiple effects to give them a variety of uses: look at Liquid Shadow or Dry Spell. This would be a lot more appealing if it was something other than basic CC in an element that's loaded with basic CC.

Okay, right, and lightning is interesting and has more than one effect how?

In terms of fun, Lighting has awe-inspiring art, sound effect and is a unique spell (this is another Freeze). In terms of gameplay, it can target the player. If you pack 6 and run into a creatureless stall, they can still be used to aid OTK or similar (see Bonebolt Fractal Dragon version).

Balance-wise, I would not mind Water getting another CC spell. Does it help the element? Very little.
