Nice card idea and well balanced.

However this card is a better antideckout combo than photon-eternity combo.

I would recommend increasing it to 4 :time
5|2  /  7|2

During the mid game it acts like a spark that costs 2 :time too much.
During the end game it acts like both a rewind and a spark that costs 1 :time too little.

I recommend changing the hp to be 2 or greater to prevent Fire buckler from interrupting the combo.

It's OP and would make deckout something only for non-rainbow decks (duos, trios with time obviously too), and this have already been done Return | Replay (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,14899.0.html).

If you read the thread you'll see more reasons for this to be OP

maybe i'm will change it cost and status.   but keep unupgraded version have 1 hp is good for me, upgraded can't be interrupt  that's very large different isn't it?  :P

Don't forget that Protected Eternity has utility value mid game as well. However I would agree that the setup cost of eternity should be reflected in the cost of this card.


In conclusion
I would recommend increasing it to 6

I say it's OP because with one single card (no combos, 3 :time to work, no way of stopping it when upped, no matter if the card is in the bottom of your deck, and even with the weapon slot empty) you can stop deck-out forever...

Deck-out isn't just "another rule", is the way to avoid lots of decks stalling until they can run an invincible combo (or at least, it slows them down by putting eternity -sometimes 2-, a PA and a 0-1 cost creature)

I guess there must be a way to balance the card, but right now, it's OP, not by itself, but used in a deck (and there's where they are a problem)

Sorry if I didn't explained myself before, I had little time and lesser will :D and I thought the link would be enough

I guess only upping the cost to whatever won't be enough or will make the card nearly unuseful, maybe up the cost a bit, and make it return to your deck when killed, or at least reduce the upped one's HP to 1... I dunno :-\

It can be destroyed by fire shield, just a slight difference...

the old stats with the new ability should be fine maybe even underpowered
