NOTES:
This card will be part of a series on deck and hand manipulation effects. As with Library Codex ( http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,37814.0.html (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,37814.0.html) ) the goal is to give large decks a means of retrieving the cards they need quickly. The card seems to fit a time theme more for the overall egyptian feel of the element.
The card's mechanics have been altered a bit from initial version after feed back from topic in the old forums.

The idea is to create a small golem like servant that can either fight for you or be sent off to hunt for a needed card from your deck.

This cards ability works by targeting any card in the field or either players hand. Unlike the library codex, there is no limit on number of uses and you won't need to pay the cost of the card being pulled up. If a card is targeted that does not exist in your deck, however, the ability is simply wasted. Also, unlike the library codex, this is not guaranteed to move the card to the top of your deck if it is very far down, but if it is already at the top, it will draw it to your hand.
These mechanics should hopefully be sufficiently distinct from codex and the existing card drawing mechanics to warrant a new card.
Suggestions for alternate mechanics are welcome though.

1. Format is wrong. If it's free, the top right should just be blank.
2. Why need a pacifist passive? Why not just make this a permanent?
3. Why is this even time if it doesn't use :time quanta?
4. How would card naming be implemented? Do you need a drop down menu of all the cards in the game so you can pick one?

1) I know, I'm working on that, but it means having to some photoshoping since the card builder doesn't support it
2)  Permanents are not susceptible to CC which is more prevalent than PC. This gives the opponent a much wider array of counter options. This is to offset the 0 casting cost.
3) I could make it an "other" type but it fits time's egyptian motif. Not every card needs to cost quanta of its type. E.g. photon and spark. Not every card has abilities with in type costs (pick your favorite here). This is supposed to be a general purpose card, usable in almost any deck.
4) A window prompt will pop up and you will type the card name into the text box. This mechanic will be reused in many of the other cards for this series I am working on.

I don't particularly like having effects that search for card and the like.  Considering the build of most decks, you'll either draw the card you want before this or the effect will do nothing to help you, particularly in bulkier decks.  And the effect would be much better if it cost time, regardless if it were a creature or permanent.

I've never played Yugioh... though I've seen the TV show...
This card was inspired by "The Kane Chronicles" by Rick Riordan, where "Shabti" are used as golem like servants. One of the common tasks was to retrieve information from libraries.

New version is in. By popular demand, the mechanics has been altered so that it targets an existing card in play or in a player's hand rather than prompting the owner to type a card name into a pop-up text box. The "pacifist" trait has also been removed, and instead the card will give up its attack when it is sent to search for a card... (as a side effect, this could be quite useful against SoSac or Antimatter decks)
