If you add to an upgraded stack, does it increase your quanta pool by 1?
Very nice concept, although i don't see how it fits life.

No the upped one is free but doesn't add a quanta

It fit life because life is growth and luxuriance too so it can give you more ressource.

Why not on theme. What i meant by upped is, say i use unupped monolith on a tower stack. It adds a tower, does that tower give +1 quanta when entering play?

If you target a tower or upped pend stack ,yes it'll trigger the tower ability and give you +1 quanta. It may be little OP though ? Still you need to have one tower before you use it.

It's, at the minima, a very powerful mechanism. It basicly acts as a double pillar. 'd probably increase cost for both by 1.

Actually the wording made me thought about something : make it ALWAYS add a pillar/unup pend. that's still pretty powerfull so I increase the cost ?

Here might be a case where the upgraded should have a casting cost and be able to target non basic pillars as well.

1 |1 for +1 basic|basic or non-basic

The unupped can generate Pillars and Pendulums
The upgraded can generate any permanent with the pillar type (Monoliths included.)
