well thematically they should be immune to a lot of things but they are not.

true, true. Kind of funny to think of though, "Oh no, my pegasus just fell through the floor into a sinkhole! If only it could have avoided it!"

Okay so next question, how much is a field location? One square, or an area? Also, I see powerful synergy for this and flooding as you use this the make the middle row a sinkhole and the edges water (heck, it makes water-earth duo make sense and thus justifies using trident). with that said, I kind of really like this card, as it buffs 2 water cards that really need it.

idk if I was inspired, it just seemed to fit and i am trying to do several field targeting ideas. (with help of course)

Effect: Non targeting hard CC that has a chance to work that scales with creature hp. (The target location and making the location unusable post CC cancel each other out. Except for being a vehicle for non targeting single specific creature CC)

It should be obvious that this card is able to be balanced by adjusting the chance of CC. However is it currently balanced?
This card has a
30% chance to kill a Quint'd Accelerating Armagio.
6% chance to kill a Phase Dragon
~5% chance to kill most creatures (Compared to Lightning 2 |1 + 1 card having 100% chance)

Perhaps try "% = 3xhp but Airborne are immune" and see what people think of that.

I came across this page while on "Compilation of Field-Affecting Cards" by Bhlewos. This thread might be a bit old, but I thought I might as well post.

I like this new idea of creature control for Earth; it seems Earth has only a couple of CC options at the moment. But I'm not sure about the insta-kill thing...perhaps the activation chance can be raised and it would delay the creature or temporarily burrow it? There's been some card suggestions for forced burrowing, and I thought this might go with the Sinkhole thematic.

Fantastic idea.  I love how a lot of prototype cards like this are playing around with field area as a viable means for game expansion.
