I'm getting a vibe like that too. It effectively deals 3.3333 damage per 10 light quanta: stronger than Fire Bolt.

Combine that with Solar Buckler and we have one highly unbalanced card.

maybe i should have it 8 instead of 6 and reduce cost by 1 for upped

i just realized, this card means a viability for RoL + Hope decks into devilishly buffed bolt decks..

I have an idea based on that.

"Creatures behind and in front of the target will be delayed for 2 turns."

If you target the player, their weapon/shield is delayed for 2 turns instead, you're firing a large blinding laz0r of light after all. :)

Well, a 'double rainbow' is a phenomenon of optics that displays a spectrum of light due to the sun shining on droplets of moisture in the atmosphere. Does that explain it?
