ART: EmeraldTiger IDEA: dragtom NOTES: The shard inherits the target's element, random with quantum pillar, just like nymph tears. Also like nymph tears, the shard will be upgraded if the target tower/pendulum is upgraded. The shard will be put into the hand of the owner of the targeted pillar. If you target an opponent's pillar while his hand is full and/or he has a sanctuary on the field, the shard is discarded, so you basically destroy a pillar. A 7th shard of the same type wont give a shard golem an additional ability- just the additional stats. (same with 8 SoI) SERIES:

yes, 12 sosac may be op, though the cost is fairly high considering that sosac drains all quanta - it requires a whole deck based on it.
I've been thinking of a solution to this for quite some time, but the only thing i can come up with is more counters vs sosac.

I see this as a great card just like Nymph Tears.  Considering that this is much more expensive and requires two cards than a Shard, seems balanced to me.

The three above cards were posted around the same time with the same concept in mind. Due to submissions/similarity arguments only Glass Shard made it to the Crucible after a few changes.  Is this version of 'Nymph's Tears for Shards' unique enough to merit another attempt at submitting it?

For those of you that argue this card is breakable with SoSac, its probably no more dangerous than Shard Remnant with SoGs or SoVs. (6 SoSacs is probably more than enough to help your beat your opponent if you know what you're doing.)
