a) Would this kill anti-mattered creatures?   -12/3 would become 3/-12.....so I assume -12 hp would not be compatible with life, right?
Antimattered critters usually bypass shields. I think they should bypass this as well.

b) Would playing a second Disruption Wall reverse everything back?   It'd be a way to remove antimattered creatures and unfed otyughs, then revert everything back to normal.
Err... what? This is a shield, it'll reverse anything attacking through it, every attack.

Sorry for the confusion--forgot this was a shield.  I had been imagining that when this card is in play, the creatures would reveal their new stats--like a shrieker would read 3/8 instead of 8/3.  In that way, cards that originally had 0 attack (or negative attack) would read 0 hp (or negative hp) ever so briefly before winking out of existence.  You could then replace the shield with another shield and continue on your merry way without the missing creatures.

But since this is a shield, it would only affect the opponent's creatures, and you couldn't play 2 of them at once.  I had (erroneously) imagined it was a non-shield permanent to which the opponent (or yourself) could play a second one and cancel out the first one.  My apologies for any confusion caused by my mistake.  :-[

I like the idea, but against a deck with Momentum, as other people have pointed out, it will fall flat on it's face if your playing a smart player. Simply play an Armaggio, get it flipped, and be prepared to kill any Maxwell's demon with any splash cards you may have, then momentum your Armaggio to prevent it's statistics from being flipped around.

The best I can think of would be a Gravity/Aether deck to counter this - Use Lightning to kill Max's Demons, Use Quintessence, Universes, and Momentums to utilize the shield to your advantage.

However, you'd have to build a deck around an opponents cards for this to work consistently. It's actually kind of interesting since it seems to provide some form of tug of war between Earth/Gravity/Entropy. Either way, playing this card automatically makes any Maxwell's Demon you have become the highest priority targets.

Basically the essence of  :entropy  chaos, random, mad.

I think they really should print up this one as rare.

My vote for it.

Hmm, it's interesting, but I doubt it will be useful.

Unless your fighting something like fire, where creatures have more attack then strength, or you're fighting growth, it's not good.  And even if you are fighting those things, you decrease the damage you take less than something like time's shield would unless you have a way to destroy the shield permanent.

Remember, you can't give this shield to your opponent, it comes into play on your side of the field.  You cannot base a deck around flipping your own creatures, only your enemy.  This card would work better as an instant.

As a spell, but the point is to screw up your opponent's creatures. It's biggest point is the synergy with Maxwell's Demon, because you could paradox any creature that didn't have equal stats.
I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.
