I'm pretty sure there's already a card like this somewhere.
Anyway, this seems to step on Flying Weapon and is almost worse in most cases. You sacrifice your ability to use a shield (worth a few
) to equip another weapon, which is basically what Flying Weapon does. While Flying Weapons are vulnerable to CC, they still let you use an useful shield and most are decently resistant. There's also a reason that Animate Weapon is
while Flying is
. Unupped decks clearly weren't meant to use more than one weapon without splashing in some
. This is also worse than FW and AW in that it is useful only once, whereas FW and AW are useful for every single weapon you have.
