Don't mind if I do.

This deck was actually about to become a relic of the Smithy section of the forum. When I asked, ET created some art, and I'm in his debt.

EmeraldTiger offered to make me a clock since he saw I was looking for a clock for my card. He used it in the theme Time which was actually what I needed. Each Hand either goes left or right/to the future or past like a... Time Machine xD

For the fourth time, Thank you for the image EmeraldTiger. It's great!

For all participants : please make your own seperate thread with the card idea and link it here if you haven't done so. This is so that the polls can link to the actual card and that the competition thread doesn't get clogged with images and harder to view on some computers.

Also, please use card format found here (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,5039.0.html).

Sorry I'm not here for the competition but rather was led here because I use the 'Show unread posts since last visit' function of forums a lot.

I have a question though: Are the cards created for the competition suppose to be balanced in terms of Elements meta game or simply for the sake of using EmeraldTiger's art. I really want to know this as I nearly typed an essay (exaggeration) on why the big bang card by one of the applicants is completely overpowered before I realized the submission was for this competition not to the crucible.

So is it ok if the card's effects are completely wack as long as it's fitting to the image? Like seriously...looking at lionheart, impede and big bang just really makes me wonder if he's ever seen how even one creature removed will make creature deck die to stall decks and knows it's pretty taboo to design cards that single out one target element (in this case darkness).

Thanks for taking time to answer question. I'm sorry if I singled Chrisbenton out. I hope this card competition goes well :)

@mightyforest

Well I feel like I need to reply. I'm not mad or offended, I just want to let you know that I have been in the forum for about a day now and I have been playing elements here and there for about 3 months. I have probably only played PVP 20 times or less. I am learning a lot but you are right. I do not have the experience with all the decks and different situations. Hell I just learned what CC meant yesterday. You don't want to know how long it took me to figure out what GOTP meant. Anyway I digress...I am aware that my card designs are poor. I don't expect to see them in the next update. I was just experimenting with the creator and the images for the competition. I don't expect to win or get anything out of it but feedback and experience. I do appreciate the constructive criticism and I will surely take these things into account when I decide to create a card that I do want to be considered. As far as these cards go, yes they are probably overpowered and geared toward a certain element. This is because I just thought they were interesting ideas and I have been getting my butt kicked all day while experimenting mostly by a certain element. Anyway, Thanks again and happy reel spinning.

Again, sorry I singled you out man. I'm glad you didn't feel offended, because that was never my intent to begin with...I just wanted to point out those cards you introduced really didn't fit the current game environment as I see it. Hopefully you will come to agree with me as you play more games against AI and others in PVP.

Best of luck in your journey of Element games too.

Regarding the balance issue - while the card can start off slightly imbalanced I'd appreciate it if you balanced it as people give feedback. Competition cards can be submitted to the crucible unless otherwise stated, so I'd recommend making sure the card is balanced and appealing.
