In regards to balance...

Tweak the stats and lower the casting cost.
Change the ability's activation cost to mono-time.
Needs a boost to casting cost (specifically, the upgraded).
It's fine the way it is.

A mid-range creature for :time. Introduces some new-ish synergies and neat possibilities. Ability casting costs would reflect whether or not an upgraded permanent was targeted.

Shard of Freedom: +25% to attack | +50% to attack (rounded down)

Unstable Gas: Gains Ignite (creature is sacrificed when used)

Flooding: Gains Flood (until water quanta is absorbed or creature is killed)

Sanctuary: Gains Sanctuary

Nightfall: Gains Nightfall | Gains Eclipse

Cloak: Gains Cloak (for 3 turns or creature is killed)

I absolutely love this idea. Gaining more permanent-like abilities in the game is a great idea. My only question would be if balance wise it promotes time-gravity synergy too much. Great art too.

I like the choice of art.

I feel it the upgraded needs a cost bump as it gets both a bump and a cheaper ability.

Although, what happens if sundial is targeted?
Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?

I agree, I'm also a little iffy on the :time / :gravity duo. I couldn't really think of an Element that fit correctly...perhaps :aether would be more thematic?

I agree, I'm also a little iffy on the :time/:gravity duo. I couldn't really think of an Element that fit correctly...perhaps :aether would be more thematic?

Earth might fit too possibly... The art just looks so good against the time card backdrop though...
