no, Im trying to express the idea of opposite polarity, antimatter(not the card) and inversion or negation.

What would the absolute opposite of this element be An element currently featured in the game, and how would these ideas work in this game How it currently works, and how can I create an interesting play mechanic that meshes with the current system It's already there.

Ok now I see. You want to take the antifire particle and cast spells with that.
Well this is where you seem to misunderstand elemental based physics.
In the Aristotlean system the 4 elements ( :air :fire :earth :water) were defined by 2 variable traits (Hot/Cold and Dry/Wet).
:air was Hot and Wet, :earth was Cold and Dry. The anti :air particle was :earth.

Note: In elements Fire=/= -1 x Water but  :fire== -1 *  :water.

ok so I read the discussion of Psuedo/New Elements located here:

Upon reading the discussion I will state that Negation is closer to a theme, than a full new Element. Howver, given is basis around 'antiquanta' and the current discussion here, leading to a similar mechanic as what Anarook is working on located here:

I feel that this is a bit bigger than just a theme or set such as the Alchemy series.

I do not intend this to be finished for quite some time, at this point, Im brainstorming.

What I do see, is a chance to create a powerful and fun to use set of cards, that create a new set of strategies developing from it.
I see the 'Element' as 'Antiquanta' and the premise of its cards to be inversion and negation. Fire cards will freeze, death cards will heal. Im seeing mechanics like, you must have so many of such and such permanent in play, and or you must destroy one or more to play the cards, instead of negative quanta. Quanta destroying effects and cards that deal damage based on how much quanta someone has seem emergent.

It will be several months before I really get this built into something good, its finals week, Im opening a restaurant next month and Im rather busy otherwise, but I like making cards and such for games I like, call it a hobby or past-time.

Im looking at darkening the borders on these cards, and an icon, but dont expect this to be fleshed out until end of summer, I do have my own card game UIm trying to code (SG said not to post links here, but I hope it is ok to talk about). I still have the quicksilver series to finish up, but wanted to get a place to work on ideas for this built up. Ill come back to it, once I have a clearer vision. I know 'kinda' what I want to do with this, but I dont expect it to be really more well developed just yet. In :time.
