* This creature twin universe itself after being a target of any beneficial / harmful spell or ability.

* Airborne

* Its like deja vu, but with a passive ability triggered by casting a spell on it. And effect is infinite. Not one time only.

* Effect triggers after the spell resolves, so it triggers only when it can. This means it does Not trigger when a spell kills it or when it is rewind.

* This also means the new spawn will have the buffed stats if original is Blessed / Chaos Powered

so if you were to put chaos power on it, it would make a copy.  but then would those copies also be able to make copies of themselves if targeted by chaos power again? or is it a one time use ability like deja vu

Chaos Power, Blessing, Parallel Universe, Fractal, Momentum, etc.  This makes for an epic rainbow.

i think it act the same as scarab as in each one retains the ability (unless the spell kill the creature outright)

Is PU applied before or after the spells effect?  I would assume after.

if its one time, its probably fine, but if its unlimited, its likely OP.  a buff being applied twice? fine.  but for unlimited, break it down, add chaos power gain +3|+3 (randomly selected numbers) get 2x 7|5 pigeons for 3 :aether 1 :entropy - but then it gets more absurd when you add it again and get +2|+2 (again, random) and end up with a 7|5 pigeon + 2x 9|7 pigeons for only 3 :aether and 2 :entropy - and as you can see it will only get worse from there.  any existing rush would be put to shame

-Please do not put the icon in the Element section of the table. :aether means Aether quanta, and not the element Aether. The two are not interchangeable
-Put your name in the idea box if possible...
-Capitalize 'Ethereal Pigeon' in the card's text (both the table and the image)

Smart mechanic, considering that this card is of the Aether element (meaning that Fractal would be super redundant with this card, so other cards involving buff effects (or even Twin Universe)  would be better choices).

How exactly does this interact with parallel/twin universe?

Thanks everyone for their feedback. All my three cards for this competition focus on making more use of the creatures. I'm attempting to lean towards a middle ground between mindless (fire&forget) rush decks and overdoing control decks. "Use creatures for fighting, but have some more control over them".

Chaos Power, Blessing, Parallel Universe, Fractal, Momentum, etc.  This makes for an epic rainbow.
That is the intend. Buffing the creature buff cards indirectly.

if its one time, its probably fine, but if its unlimited, its likely OP.  a buff being applied twice? fine.  but for unlimited, break it down, add chaos power gain +3|+3 (randomly selected numbers) get 2x 7|5 pigeons for 3 :aether 1 :entropy - but then it gets more absurd when you add it again and get +2|+2 (again, random) and end up with a 7|5 pigeon + 2x 9|7 pigeons for only 3 :aether and 2 :entropy - and as you can see it will only get worse from there.  any existing rush would be put to shame
You are right, its very strong with creature buffs. But so are tons of other different combos with many different cards. I was under the impression that creature buffs were a little bit weak to take in your deck, i haven't really seen many creature buff oriented decks around. After all, you lose two cards if your buffed creature is taken care of, so you'd prefer another creature instead of a buff card (i can discuss further about this subject). This card indirectly buffs the creature buff cards such as blessing & chaos power (virtually turning them into creature cards).

Plus, this creature is nowhere near a (lets say) buffed otyugh, your opponent can get rid of it just as easy as he can get rid of other creatures. Because it discourages you to quint it, this becomes a regular creature when you quint it: Because you can't target it anymore for further buffs.

Usage-wise, Ethereal Pigeon is comparable to growing creatures which promote quint. They get +2 / +2 each turn without the need of a combo card and are rolling ball when quinted. Pigeon multiplies each time you buff it but needs another card to work for each time you want to benefit, and stops growing if you quint it. You can put a Lava Golem in your deck and it will solo your opponent while you can enjoy your all other cards for control / creatures. But pigeon requires tons of buff cards that will fill your deck (hence, less control / creature cards) but compensates this by multiplying.

Cost-wise, you can also think of Firefly Queen. It pops 4/2 flying creatures which also generate fire quanta for almost free and every turn. Ethereal Pigeon pops a copy of itself only when you pay with another card and you can't just keep poping them every turn because you need to have the buff-card for it in your hand. Naturally the result should be stronger than a [4/2- quanta generating-flying] creature since you virtually pay the activation cost with a card.

I trust pigeon is balanced as it is unlimited times and i disagree that this card is OP.

How exactly does this interact with parallel/twin universe?
TU means 2 more of these creatures. If you cast TU on it, you are going to have one from TU and another one from the effect itself. If your opponent cast TU on it, he will have one copy  from his TU and you will have one copy from the effect.

If your opponent casts antimatter on it, first it will be minus AP, then copy itself. So you will have two antimattered copies, meaning its extra vulnerable to antimatter or aflatoxin. (in which case, my other card Necronomicon would fit in nicely : ))) )

so if you were to put chaos power on it, it would make a copy.  but then would those copies also be able to make copies of themselves if targeted by chaos power again? or is it a one time use ability like deja vu
Its not one use. It keeps creating copies after it is targeted and after the spell resolves. You may make a deck with 6 of those, a few TU and a dozen creature buffs.

According to the mechanic i thought, the effect triggers after the spell cast on it resolves. So if it dies, it dies. And if it is rewind, it just goes back to deck. In none of these cases it multiplies. Its not meant to be an immortal, persistant creature that multiplies when someone stares at it.
